Information you submit

GetVideoDownload processes the public media URL you enter so it can request information from the source platform and prepare your selected format. The service does not require a GetVideoDownload account.

Downloads and media files

Downloaded media is streamed to your browser. A completed temporary copy remains on the server for approximately 10 minutes for operational handling and is then deleted automatically. GetVideoDownload does not intentionally keep a permanent copy of the video or audio file.

Abuse prevention and logs

Your IP address is processed temporarily for rate limiting and security. Standard server logs may contain request times, routes, IP addresses and technical error details needed to operate and protect the service.

Data stored in your browser

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in local storage on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Third-party platforms

When you submit a link, the source platform receives a server request needed to read or stream that public media. Each platform handles data under its own privacy policy and terms.
